I began my journey as a developer in late 2016, with Java serving as my first programming language. Notably, the first tool I developed resulted in significant improvements to an internal company process, reducing its duration by approximately twenty percent. My hands-on developer acumen was greatly enhanced by working collaboratively within an agile Scrum framework, closely aligned with customer requirements. In addition, I contributed to second- and third-level support efforts, quickly resolving critical customer issues while enhancing and customizing existing software modules and interfaces. After three years of invaluable experience, I made the strategic decision to gain a deeper understanding of the software engineering landscape by pursuing a formal degree in Computer Science in Germany. At the same time, I seized the opportunity to cultivate my skills in full-stack web development and successfully managed my first project called StockStream for inventory management within my company. Since then, my passion for web development has flourished, driving me to continually expand my expertise and stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the field.
The store used the modular system called Wix for its original online presence. I redesigned the store to highlight the products and services and create a more premium look. I integrated Pocketbase into my content management strategy to increase efficiency and scalability, supported by Svelte, whose community is growing rapidly. Currently the shop is in showcase mode, as the company does not want to sell any products yet. The store is ready for sale via the Stripe API.
Utilized a pre-built Vue.js and Quasar boilerplate to efficiently establish the core structure of an interactive webshop application. This enabled the focus on customization and backend development to optimize the user experience across various devices.
The Watchover project stands as a testament to the power of automation in bolstering an organization's security posture. I spearheaded the development of this Security Monitoring Tool, focusing on crafting a robust backend infrastructure using Node.js, MongoDB, and TypeScript. This included implementing a RESTful API to ensure seamless functionality and integration within the system. Furthermore, Watchover's impact extends beyond the technical aspects. By automating escalation processes, the tool empowers IT administrators to prioritize critical issues, leading to a significant improvement in incident response efficiency. Additionally, continuous monitoring capabilities enable proactive threat detection, enhancing the organization's overall security posture.
